Quaycentre is one of Sydney's most versatile venues. The Arena readily adapts to host a range of different events such as conferences, concerts, exhibitions, and dinners. Using a combination of drapes, fixed and retractable tiered seating and loose floor seating, the venue can comfortably accommodate as few as 500 or as many as 4000 people.
The main Arena is supported by a range of smaller rooms that can be tailored to meet the specific requirements of the event. They include the Acacia & Banksia Rooms, Liz Ellis & Lauren Burns Rooms. The competitive hiring fee includes the use of a long list of event equipment. This includes stages in a variety of sizes, carpet, floor to ceiling drapes, a dance floor and retractable and floor seating, all of which can be configured to suit the event.
Professional assistance is provided in the areas of planning, production, theming and catering. Hirers also benefit from access to Sydney Olympic Park's publicity network to assist in the promotion of their event. Sydney Olympic Park Authority is responsible for the venue management of the Quaycentre. The Quaycentre is part of the Authority's Sports Venues division, and involves the successful daily management of facilities to meet the competition and training needs of athletes and the recreational and fitness needs of the community, thereby contributing to the advancement of a healthy, social and cultural lifestyle for the people of NSW.
