HARMIT CHOPRA was enthused in music whilst growing up in Fiji, inspired by the engaging Punjabi folk singing of his Grandma and renditions of Ghazals & Hindi Film songs by his Father. He has no formal singing lessons or vocal training but loved humming Hindi songs as a teenager and later developed an interest in singing with friends at gatherings. He gained greater knowledge of music in the company of musos in Saaz Band, which he currently manages.
Harmit has been performing with live-music on stage since 2011 whilst refining his singing ability enabling him to perform in major local concerts in Sydney.
