MERINA SUMESH has her roots in Kerala and holds a bachelors degree in Carnatic music, which she attained with 1st rank from Calicut University, Kerala. She has been performing in Australia since January 2001. Having performed previously with famous singers like KS Chitra, Vijay Yesudas, Mohd Aslam, M G Sreekumar, Madhu Balakrishnan, Unni Menon (the revered list continues); Merina happens to be one of the most versatile female singers based in Sydney.
